Mary C. (Kiner) Moore

Mary C. (Kiner) Moore, 100, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Wednesday, May 16, 1923 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul Kiner, Sr. and Ethel (Manning) Kiner. She was married 59 years to Harold K. “Tinner” Moore who passed away in March 2002.

Mary grew up in Harrisburg. Later moving to Stoney Creek, Dauphin, PA., after her marriage and WW II.  In the late 50’s, after Harold was transferred to AMP in Elizabethtown, they moved there to make a home for their 4 children.

A homemaker, she was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and was a wonderful cook.  The family had many memorable camping trips to PO Paddy, Cowans Gap, and the beach.

Mary is survived by a daughter Ann L. Smith, a son Ted L. Moore and a son in law Robert L. Enck, all of Elizabethtown; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; and a sister Linda Oren of Greensburg. She was predeceased by daughter Janice E. Enck, a son Michael A. Moore, and a Grandson Todd L Moore.

A graveside service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 9:30 AM.
