Patricia F. (Frey) Rathsam

Patricia F. Rathsam (Frey), of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the age of 84. Born February 8, 1938, in Lancaster Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles Frey and Rose Mary (Yeager) Frey. She was married to her high school sweetheart Joseph Rathsam whom she stayed loyal even after his passing.

After graduating from Lancaster Catholic school, she became a homemaker raising her children. She later started a working career at Elizabethtown College as a secretary in the financial aid office. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, watching the Blue Jays play, and attending every one of her children’s and grandchildren’s games. Her family was the world to her. Patricia will be greatly missed for her caring soul.

Patricia is survived by her children: Steve Rathsam and wife Sue, Michael Rathsam and wife Deanna, Rich Rathsam and his widow Rose, Edward, and Mark and his wife Kris Rathsam. Grandchildren: Benjamin, Andrew, Eric and Julia Rathsam. Sister: Julie Wise and her husband Jim Wise. She is preceded in death by her brother Bob Frey.

A private family graveside will be held Monday December 5, 2022.
