Robert F. Hoke Sr.

Robert Franklin Hoke, Sr, 84, passed away at his son Christopher's house in Lewisberry, PA, with family at his bedside on Sunday, November 6, 2022.  Born Sunday, December 12, 1937, in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Charles V. & Emma R. (Martin) Hoke.  Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Adams Hoke.

Bob is survived by four children: Jennifer Hoke, Christopher Hoke (Yvonne), Scott Hoke (Bonnie) and Tammy Loner (John) along with multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert F. Hoke, Jr. and a granddaughter, Sandra Altepeter.

Bob was raised in Middletown, served several years in the Army and worked at PennDot. Bob retired as a supervisor/mechanic from PennDot moving to Titusville, Florida where he enjoyed life in general. He later relocated back to PA to be near family. Bob was a member of the Masons and the VFW. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and playing golf.  Bob loved collecting coins, listening to blue grass music and watching old black and white movies.  He was a skilled woodworker, making many toys and gifts as he enjoyed working and creating with his hands.

Bob will be deeply missed by his family and friends however his memories will linger warmly in the hearts of those who knew & loved him.
